I’m over the moon that my second novel, Son of the Sea, has been longlisted for the James Reckitt Hull Children’s Book Award 2024!

Son of the Sea is longlisted in the Key Stage 2 category alongside some of my absolute favourites, including Ian Eagleton’s debut middle grade book Glitter Boy - which should be on everybody’s TBR. Thank you so much to Hull Libraries and the Hull School Library Service for including me. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for the shortlist, which is announced in the New Year.
