Son of the Sea is at the printers!

This week I had the absolute joy of seeing my second novel, Son of the Sea, bound and readied for shipment at CPI Books in Kent. The whole factory smelled of paper, ink and glue, and I got to push the button which started up the binding machine - aka the best job ever. It was just like my very own episode of How It’s Made!

You can watch a film of our tour here, and preorder Son of the Sea today ahead of its publication on 11th May.

Thank you so much to Kevin at CPI, who took us on an incredible tour and taught us about the entire book-making process, as well as Laura, my Production Editor at Chicken House who arranged the whole visit. It was such an interesting, exciting, surreal and unforgettable day.
